Funding purpose of this project is the development of an online marketplace suitable for human biospecimens with features as customer-friendly filter functions and complete product overview and features for order processing, merchandise and accounts receivable managements. With the Central BioHub project we developed an innovative online market presence. It enables customers in the life science sector at any time and from any location worldwide to procure human biospecimens for their research and development projects. Thereby, we aim for compliance with highest ethical and legal standards. Furthermore, we provide a forum to exchange and discuss information between specialists to enhance biospecimens acquisition, cold storage, research performance and in the end to achieve an improvement in patient care.
