Every diagnostic system has to be tested for potential interfering factors during development. For this essential step in assay validation, we have put together ideally composed collections of human biospecimens. The interfering factors of an in vitro diagnostic test (IVD) can be analysed with the panel of interfering substances, which is available here. Besides an interference panel, biospecimen collections of patients with rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes (type I and II) and obesity are available. Panels of pregnant women and elderly people cover other potentially interfering factors during assay development. If you do not find the panel you are looking for, please contact our Central BioHub team.
